AEPhi is a national Panhellenic sorority dedicated to fostering lasting friendships among college women, supporting educational and cultural interests, and encouraging a sense of social responsibility. AEPhi was founded by seven Jewish women at Barnard College in 1909 when they were prohibited from joining other sororities due to their religion. Today, we welcome hundreds of new members each year with open arms and seek to live up and exceed to the ideals and goals of the original founders.
