San Luis Obispo Hillel is the center-point of Jewish life at Cal Poly and San Luis Obispo Community. We are here to provide you with a strong Jewish community away from home. We look to inspire and excite students and make life a little smoother while you’re at college. We provide a welcoming and supportive environment, so our students can be proud of and engaged with their Judaism. We offer opportunities to explore and celebrate Jewish identity and our students’ journeys into adulthood. The passionate SLO Hillel staff place value in connections with each student and strives to offer a host of meaningful entry points into Jewish campus life.

Our Vision

To raise awareness on campus of the significance of Jewish heritage, values, and Israel. Through Shabbat dinners, career-based and service programs, social and cultural events, and religious gatherings, SLO Hillel brings Jewish students and supporters together to enrich lives, learning opportunities, and our community.
